----- 2021 was a challenging year for many, but we were still here, providing beautiful, hand-crafted leather goods. We had a bit of down time to develop several new purse designs that we have been offering via our street shows in '22 and '23.

Thomas Leather Studios has been honored with invitations to the Smithsonian Craft Fair for four years and La Quinta Arts Festival for four years. And La Quinta encouraged us to apply again in 2022. We believe the Smithsonian will be back up and running before long as well. As far as I know, these are the most prestigious modern craft movement shows. ------------------------------------------ Leather bags, belts, backpacks, and briefcases by Horace "Tom" and Shawn Thomas, a father and son team bring AWARD WINNING art show leather to the world wide web.

I have been designing, creating and selling leather products for 54 years and my son Shawn has been working with me for the last 19 years.

The person that made our business possible is the late Barbara Thomas. She was a skilled leathersmith, my loving and loved wife of 38 years, and the mother of two fine young adults (her proudest achievement). We miss her.

MY SON AND I DESIGN AND PRODUCE ALL OF THESE LEATHER ITEMS IN OUR OWN STUDIO/WORKSHOP. No leather items here are manufactured. All are hand crafted. Some of them we will create to your individual specifications.
