These belts are each a solid piece of full grain cowhide. There are no layers, strange liners, or cheap tricks. It is 8.5-9 ounce(medium heavy) thick leather that has been stuffed with wax and oil during the tanning process. These supple straps will not crack or split. The alligator grains are pressed into the leather during the tanning process with a deeply engraved plate and high pressure. You can choose either the alligator grain or the smooth, full grain.
The buckles are a superior quality without driving up the price like solid sterling. These nicely styled sets can be worn for dress or casual situations.
